CUSHIONING
K-RING: The K-ring is an exclusive rear cushioning technology in the form of a ring located in the heel. The hole in the middle disperses the shockwave. KALENSOLE: EVA foam used in the midsole. The result of three years of research to create an exclusive composition that improves cushioning by 34%, delivers 25% more energy response, superior temperature stability and durability up to 1000 km.

SUIT ALL TYPES OF STRIDES
K-Only: Exclusive Kalenji technology that makes our shoes suitable for every stride type thanks to the denser foam located under the first metatarsus. This innovative technology is the result of a six-month study with a sample of 372 runners conducted by the Luxembourg Institute of Health*. After 12,558 training sessions, 12,094 hours and 116,723 km of running, the study demonstrated that the K-Only technology suits all types of strides, whether they are pronator, neutral or under-pronator.
4
STABILITY
ARKSTAB: TPU resin piece located at the back of the shoe for better stability.

Light weight and very supportive
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
This shoe has great support and cushioning - have thrown my ASICS out and not using these - loving them
Disappointing production
Used for 1 week or less
Hello decathlon The shoe literally wounded the bottom part of my foot. I ran almost 20 minutes with it and there are tears in both my feet. There is a part in the bottom that is very hard as if there is a nail from both sides, it is not a soft lining or cushioning that protects the feet or even makes the user feel comfortable.

It is a very bad choice at it is not worth the money investment at all.

Better than expected!
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
Didn't know what to expect when buy my first running shoes from decathlon, maybe some Nike or addidas on the cheep. However after having my gaet measured they suggested the kirprun long, reasnably priced and above all comfy and supportive.
Springy running shoes
Used for 3 to 6 months
very springy sole, good for running on tracks, paths and roads. Laces snag on things when I trail run. Comfortable and didn't need breaking in.
Very impressed compared with the main brands
Used for 3 to 6 months
I'm very impressed with these shoes. I always replace my running shoe insoles with Sorbothane insoles so no issues with the Kalenji insoles. All in all very comfortable distance shoes. I do about 40 miles a week and have had no issues whatsoever. The only reason i haven't given 5 stars is that the soles are worn out after 6 months, I'd have hoped for longer - a longer lasting sole would make these shoes perfect. I'll be getting another pair anyway.
Clumpy
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
I have used a lot of Decathlon kit but these are the first running shoes I have tried and on this experience I would not go for their shoes again. THe sole is very thick and lacks any road feel. Fine if that leads to a plush ride but it does not. I am not sure if it is the shape or the lack of flex but they are very clumpy and make you feel really heavy on your feet. The shoe does not hold the foot well and you slip forward during descents and your toe feels the front of the shoe. All in all poor design. I continue to love their clothes but will not be back for running shoes.

Insoles caused blisteres
Used for 1 week or less
They felt comfortable enough in the shop but after 1.5 Miles into my first use of them I felt friction on the right foot arch. The design of the shoe has a prominent arch but the extreme edge of the insole is not flush against the shoe wall, meaning it was ‘digging in’ to my foot. After 2 Miles I
Abandoned the run and limped home to treat blister. Decathlon then refused to refund me because I had used the shoes. I pointed out that it was only after using them for the first time that they caused an injury. How was I to know unless I used them? Decathlon still refused so basically I’m down £60 with a faulty shoe and will have to spend more money on an alternative

Great Trainers
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
Having used Brooks in the past I must say I am very impressed with these trainers. I do take support Trainers
Great
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
Don't do any running but must walk miles everyday.......... bought these as having really bad heel pain on one foot. These gave really good support and the problem completely cleared up in a few days. Must be the most comfy trainers I've ever had.......... also the most expensive as I've usually gone for £20 ones which I now realise were rubbish. They also come in half sizes so I was able to get a really good fit + they did up nice and tight on my very narrow feet. Like them so much I might get a blue pair to go with my eyes!!
Could do with some improvments
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
First things first, these are really comfy shoes, as good as the new balance trainers that i have owned & destroyed over the last 10 years. I have not given this 5 stars for 2 reasons. The laces are too short to utilize all the holes on the shoes, in order to create the runners loop at the top. Which is a shame, because the colours compliment the shoe. secondly, the insoles are rubbish, they have a saw toothed edge near the big toe, and the friction from running give me blisters on both big toes. I have replaced them with KALENJI RUN 700 SOLES and so far so good
