All Wedze gloves have a water-repellent treatment that means their fabric does not absorb water, but instead ensures it slides across the surface. This means the fabric does not become saturated with water. It remains light and warm. A fabric becomes water-repellent thanks to a treatment applied to its outer surface. To remain effective, this treatment must be renewed every 2 to 3 washes with specific products that are available in our stores.

All Wedze gloves are windproof. Did you know that wind makes you feel colder? With an outside temperature of 0°C and a wind speed of 20 km/h, the temperature feels like -10°C. Windproof fabrics limit windchill and cold caused by the speed of the sport.

It's the ability of the glove to handle objects. The dexterity of each of our gloves was rated in a field test, on a scale of 1 to 5. When the dexterity of the glove is 5, it is as easy to handle objects as it is with a bare hand. To assess the level of dexterity of our gloves, we tested the ability to put on and take off ski goggles, adjust the hooks on ski boots, and fasten or unfasten a jacket.

Wedze gloves and mittens are tested in the real conditions of use for which they were designed: snow, cold and all other conditions related to skiing. The design teams ensure that the programme for which the product was designed and developed perfectly matches its use in the field.
