Warning! This backpack is not waterproof on the inside, i.e. the bottom of the backpack does not retain water. Condensation may form on the inside of the bag, in which case, a few drops of water may pass through the seams. Don't worry, this is a rare occurrence and it prevents your food from getting wet.

Our design team imagined, thought up and designed the Quechua products in France, at the foot of the Mont Blanc. We test them in the field with other campers to make sure that they are comfortable and durable. Whether it is the Jura or the Auvergne, we visit as many locations as possible, in all weather conditions. These field tests involve lots of discussions, which are very useful in getting your feedback and planning our future products!

Product test
The European standard EN 12546-2 certifies the performance of the cooler backpack without ice packs. Tests were conducted by an independent laboratory to obtain the standard. These tests involve placing water at 5°C in the cooler, which is then held at an ambient temperature of 32°C. The purpose of this is to measure the time it takes for the water to warm up to 15°C. The measured time for this backpack was 5 hours.
